I'm Graduating!...sometime

My final semesters at BYU are coming to an end and I am scuttling to find the best classes and shove them in the pockets of my schedule because I am devastated to think that soon I will not be in a classroom. I love school. I don't particularly enjoy homework but I love the pursuit of being well-rounded.

I just realized that I don't need to take a few classes that I thought I needed. (That is a great feeling!) I really only need to take about two more classes that will double count for both my major and my minor. Then there are a few classes that I want to take just because they are fantastic classes. I may or may not end up graduating sooner than I thought.

I NEED you to comment about the best classes you have taken at BYU. What was the most interesting? The most fun? What changed your life the most? If you are already graduated, what do you wish you had learned? Economics? Accounting?

I wish now that I had taken more skills classes--like photography or drawing. I also wish I had taken a film class and/or a math class.

I really enjoyed my "fun" classes, which were just random classes such as Sailing, Outdoor Photography, Ice Skating, water aerobics, Caligraphy, etc. The more academic classes that I really enjoyed were an intro to Isalmic/Arabic culture class and a pyschology class that I took. The class that I wish I would have had time to take was an Astronomy class.

I only took a few, but i liked Mission Prep from Brother Walsh. (It was a small class, which I liked. I think about 10 of the 40 students were young women without plans of serving, just taking it for fun.)

TMA 101 was good too. I know you don't do theater though, but I know you like to write. In that class everyone writes a 10 minute play and then you get into groups and vote on whose play to put on.

i loved my film classes. and my canyoneering class. the thing is..you have to be on the waiting list for years! overall, just enjoy being on campus and watching all the stressed out people on the 5th floor of the library.

History of Jazz (mus308)

Teachings of the Living Prophets - classic. and with all the new apostles, it should be muy interesante.
